Critique - NDPC

Critique Rules

  1. The aim of the critique evening is to provide feedback and constructive criticism on photographs the member wants help with or are finished but the member wants appraised and to receive feedback and constructive criticism.

Members chose how to present their images. They can do so singly or in a presentation.

If you are doing a presentation please bring it to the evening on a Memory/USB Stick.
  2. A maximum of 5 images can be submitted.
  3. All images must be the work of the photographer, even composite creations. Manipulation in photographic design software is allowed.
  4. Images must be emailed no later than midnight on the Wednesday before the meeting. Any entries submitted after midnight Wednesday will be disqualified. Note: if you bring individual images on the night they will be disqualified.
  5. Those bringing presentations on the night must also email their intent by midnight on the  Wednesday before the meeting. The reason for allowing presentations to be brought on the night is the size of the presentation which causes some problems with email. If however you use an application that enables you to share with others [eg, Dropbox], you can use this to make your presentation available to the Technical Director the Wednesday before the meeting.
  6. Some members like to include information on the settings and lens used to take the image.
  7. If you do not receive a confirmation email please send a fresh email, using critique@ndpc.org.uk, asking if your photographs have been received.
  8. All images should be resized to 1400 pixels on the longest side and 150 DPI

All entries to be emailed to critique@ndpc.org.uk
